We start our new year with an article about the artist Marawan Kassab Bachi, written by researcher and artist Nagham Hodaifa. Hodaifa's deep knowledge of Marwan's worlds is based on her Phd thesis in art history, which led to the book Marwan - Face a Face, and on the basis of her intellectual exchange with Marwan during her research. The author chose to publish this text on the anniversary of Marwan's birthday, which falls on the 31st of January. We also attach to this article a digital presentation of a collection of documents from our archive MASA - Atassi Gallery - Damascus.
