About the artist:

Azza Abo Rebieh, a Syrian visual artist and printmaker, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University in 2002. She won the first prize in the Youth Printmakers competition in Damascus in 2006. She worked in animation and children's book illustration in Damascus between 2001 and 2016.

Printmaking remained her primary passion. She participated in numerous printmaking biennials in Europe between 2002 and 2016. She moved to Lebanon in 2017 after being detained for four months in Syria. She had four solo exhibitions in Beirut between 2018 and 2023. Since 2022, she's been represented at the Saleh Barakat Gallery in Beirut.

She participated in many group exhibitions, and her work is featured in private and public collections worldwide.
