About the guest:
Rawaa Talass is a Syrian freelance writer and journalist specializing in art and culture in Southwest Asia, North Africa, and the region's diaspora communities. Born in Japan to Syrian parents, she grew up in the United Arab Emirates. She holds two master's degrees in art history, one from the University of Kent in Paris and the other from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. Based in Dubai, her writings have been featured in various platforms and publications.
